On February 27th, the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between SWUFE and China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch was held in SWUFE Liulin Campus. The attendees include Ma Jun (President of China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch), He Ju (Vice President of China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch), Chen Tao (Assistant to President of China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch), Zhuo Zhi (President of SWUFE), Gui Fuqiang (Vice President of SWUFE), and heads of relevant offices and schools.
Zhuo Zhi extended a warm welcome to President Ma Jun and his delegation and expressed his heartfelt thanks to China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch for its long-term care and support to SWUFE. He introduced SWUFE’s history, talent training, discipline construction, academic innovation, faculty development, open cooperation as well as focus and vision of future development for the new journey and other aspects and characteristic practices. He pointed out that signing the strategic cooperation agreement would strengthen the friendship between the two sides and promote mutual complementarity and joint development.
Ma Jun expressed his cordial greetings to all the teachers and students of SWUFE. He pointed out that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement by China Minsheng Bank Chengdu Branch and SWUFE is a new start for the broad, multi-level, and substantive cooperation between the two sides and a new attempt to promote the combination of theory and practice, the integration of education and employment, and the deep integration of educational institutions, universities, research institutions, and employers. He also expressed his sincere wishes for SWUFE to grow into a world-class university with distinct financial and economic characteristics in the foreseeable future.
Gui Fuqiang and He Ju then signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation on strengthening industry information exchange, personnel exchange and training, industry-university-research institution collaborative innovation and other aspects, and structure an all-round and multi-level strategic cooperative partnership.
Before the ceremony, Ma Jun and his delegation visited the History Museum and the Monetary and Financial Museum of SWUFE.
